Leslie Williams attended San Diego State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in English and African American Studies. In 2008, Leslie returned to school and earned a Paralegal Certificate from the ABA approved program at El Camino College. Before relocating from the South Bay to Temecula Valley in 2011, Leslie spent over two years on assignment working in the Los Angeles County court systems, Self Help Center and Domestic Violence Clinic for Legal Aid of Orange County.
